Miss Rachel – Senior!

August 18, 2008
I had the pleasure of working with Rachel Saturday at Longwood Gardens. I found a fun new place to shoot, just wish it was free admission and a little closer — but it’s a location I will go back to again, for sure! Here are just a few shots from the few hours we spent wandering the gardens.
Several times before we even started I heard about the “Kids Garden” — well we went there first! I’m glad we did. Don’t get me wrong, the gardens are beautiful, but the Childern’s Garden was the most fun! This first shot is just one of those fun shots I had to try!

A little black and white action — something I need to do more of! I love the high contrast in this photo… really sets her stylish hat off.

Still in the children’s area… I could have spent the whole day here… anyway, notice the smiley face on the wall behind Rachel, well that’s her art work!

Thought Provoking and a little Scary all at the same time.

More fun with the hat… and how about that window? Great colors!

This is one of my favs from the day…

One more… this was out atop the waterfall. Next time I want to explore the bottom of the waterfall a little and see what’s availble down below.

This was just a small sample of what Rachel and I created at Longwood Gardens… Time will tell what locations I get to explore next! Thanks for the fun Rachel!
