My wonderful husband is working hard to help me keep my photography business dream on track.  We spent some time over the last week cleaning up our basement, hanging hardware and setting up my early Christmas present.  I now have a “studio”!  It’s not “pretty” and still need some additional supplies, but it’s functional for those “I really want a studio look” shot.

Last night we played around a little with the lights and the backdrop.  (Yes… I know the backdrop needs some TLC — you can tell it was just “unfolded” from its shipping package)  We still have some kinks to work out with the set-up and whatnot, but I think I got some fun shots!  Enjoy!

She is such a pretty girl!  We love our boxer!

We love when her ears are all perked up like this.  It’s the best when she looks at us and tilts her head at the same time.  All she’s really concerned with right now is the treat in daddy’s hand!

This next shot was us see how long she’d stay and how far she’d turn.  We were trying to get that saucy, over the shoulder look for our puppy!  HAHA!  It just makes her look a little ackward, but hey — she will do anything for a treat!

I have some more work in the pipe lines so you will probably see some random entried pop up over the next few weeks.  I hope everyone enjoys the holiday and thank you to everyone for making 2008 as great as it was!
