First of all, a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make the night such an enjoyable success!  As a close friend of the family I know how much the night meant to them, how great it was for them to meet some new faces, reconnect with old and just enjoy a night of fun.  They truly enjoyed themselves and went home feeling uplifted and supported and they know there are a ton of people out there fighting with Bob and they’re going to get through this!

I wanted to take a moment and share the slide show I put together from the party!  As you’ll see, it was a great evening full of laughter, prizes and lots of dancing.  Mike Miller of Mixed-Up Productions did a fantastic job and an extra thank-you to him for his hard work and the company’s generosity.  If you’re looking for a DJ for your wedding or event, I would highly recommend checking them out!

Sit back, relax, and enjoy some of the crazy fun captured through my lens.

A little sales pitch – if you are interested a hi-res DVD of the above slide show, it can be purchased through me for $20 with the proceeds going to the Bard Family Fund. If you’d like a copy, please contact me either by phone 717.381.6871 or email at info@SnapshotsByJess.com and I’ll be sure to send one your way.

Also, the images are available for viewing and purchasing online through Collages.net.  Again, all proceeds from the sale of prints will also go to the Family Fund.

If you would just like to donate directly to the fund, please feel free to contact me and I’ll make sure you have the necessary information to make that happen.

Thank you again to everyone out there!  Continue to send your thoughts and prayers and we’ll continue to fight this battle together!

Jared and I decided to share some love with the Adopt a Boxer Rescue organization.  We were recently approved as a foster home for the rescue and we currently have our first dog – Capone. We learned a little back story on Capone recently, apparently he was originally from Lancaster County, but spent most of his time in Philadelphia.  He was found as a stray and dropped of at the animal rescue in Philly.  We went and picked him up last Friday and we’ve had a lot of fun since then!

Zoey and him have gotten along pretty well – only a few minor growls — we think she’s in love!  Puppy love!  :-)

Doggie Kisses

We’ve gotten a few good shots of the two of them together, but this post is mostly about the special boy – Capone.

One Sexy Man

He is a beautiful dog!  A few good weeks of love and care and he’ll fatten up a little and his coat will shine and boy he’ll be a looker!  Sorry ladies – this man is taken!

Sofa Baby

We hope we didn’t start any bad habits, but Zoey loves the sofa and we couldn’t really force this guy to lay on the floor while the queen was lounging on the plush.  He is perfectly content just chilling on the couch, no matter what’s going on around him.

You need one of those “aww” images…  well here you go!

Don't Give me them Puppy Dog Eyes!

We are expecting an adoptive family to come by on Saturday and check him out, so his visit with us might be short,  but we hope it was as much fun for him as it was for us.  Zoey’s going to miss him – that’s for sure!  I think she has a new friend for life!

BFFs!

I’m sure once Capone is adopted we’ll get occasional updates from him family and we’ll let you know how he’s doing.  Maybe Zoey will be able to visit one day too!

Stay tuned – there may be more foster pups in the future!
