I have some catching up to do on the blog, but I wanted to quickly post the video from Jenna and Justin’s “Flaunt the Dress” session.  They did this as a favor to me.  I was able to convince them to dress back up, which wasn’t too hard since Justin purchased a suit instead of renting, and spend a little time with me outside so I could get some awesome photos of these two great looking people for my website and portfolio.  It’s great to have such amazing friends and family to support me!  I love you both more than you know, especially since you did this for me!

I’ll post some images soon, but here’s the slideshow to take in a quick view of ourt time together!  This is also proof you can do a “Trash the Dress” session without getting too dirty!  The whole concept  behind “Trash the Dress” (at lesat on my end) was just allowing the bride and groom (or prom lady) the chance to dress back up and have some stress-free fun in their pretty gowns.  It’s nice to not worry about time or a little bit of dirt.  Jenna and Justin still got some amazing shots without “trashing” anything!  You too can take some time to flaunt your dress – all you have to do is call!

Okay…  I know many of you have been waiting and I finally got some more of the photos processed.  Here are a few of actual “trashing”…  mom’s beware! 

Let’s start with a few more under the pier.  I already have gotten lots of great comments on the first shots I posted from under the pier, so here are a few more.

The only thing more fun than trashing your prom dress (or at least an inexpensive prom-dress stand in) is doing it with a friend!  Molly and Nicole have lots of great memories from this day and a bunch of shots together to remember them with!

It’s time for some waves!

This next shot was a challenge…  if anyone has been to the beach in early May and have actually ventured into the water, then you’ll understand how cold this shot is!  It was so hard for Molly to keep a somewhat of a smile and not an OMG THAT’S COLD look!  Now if only the waves here on the east coast were a bit bigger…

Yes…  this next shot is what you think it is…  the both have a handful of sand…  do you really think they’d throw sand at each other??  Come on!  They’re best friends!

Okay, just a few quick images since I know a lot of people are anxious to see what we did yesterday!  For those of you that don’t know – I spent all day yesterday at Cape Henlopen with Nicole and Molly for some fun in the…  cloudy, but not rainy day.  (sorry – I couldn’t say fun in the sun…)  I convinced them to live on the edge and participate in some prom dress trashing!  Here are just a few shots from yesterday.  I have a lot of images to go through so stayed tuned for more postings!

I had the pleasure of working with Erica (my most recent bride) during a little post-wedding bridal session. It was our little version of “Trash The Dress” and I can’t express how thankful I am to her and her sister, Tammy, for the laughs and great shots! Here are just a few of the dirties photos! We stayed pretty clean until the very end… You’re going to love these!

This first shot isn’t too dirty, but captures exactly what I was trying to achieve! This photo will probably make the rounds through lots of Photoshop play in the near future. The idea of “Trash the Dress” isn’t really to trash the dress, but to take the time and explore the environment you live in and get the type of photos that you really wanted but didn’t have the time to get the day of the wedding… plus you are a lot less worried about just a little dirt when it’s all over. I think this shot combines the beauty of the wedding with the ugly…
